AEN helped secure funding to support the following project in 2016:

Project Title: Assessment of the Impact of Man on the Environment

Partner Organization: Time Land Scientific Study Fund. The main goals and objectives of Time Land Fund are to stimulate the sustainable green development of the communities in the Getik river valley, through the implementation of innovative scientific, environmental and educational projects. 

Project Description: Time Land Fund engaged the local community to assess the human impact from the communities of the Getik River valley (Kalavan, Barepat, Dprabak and Antaramej) on the environment. They conducted field surveys, installed and checked camera traps and held seminars and roundtable discussions to gather information on and raise awareness about household waste management, forest use, wildlife poaching, water use and land use.
